« on: April 05, 2010, 02:23 »

I was playing on hmp and a former human shot me 4 times in 1 turn,my reaction was to think wtf? and blow the hell out of the former human and when i killed it it dropped a chaingun.
It was the regular white one [im no n00b to doom rl I've been playing it dating back to the days of the Cyber DAEMON!i think]
Oh i shot it in point blank range so im sure it was white
It also dropped its pistol

This former human or just a usual white? If it wasn't red, it's really weird.

He had posted some posts.
He waited enough for new version of DoomRL.
He played classic Doom but not passed. He also played rogulikes. And once he found the intersection of these sets...

A bit odd, not certain if it could should be considered a bug.

The explaination to me is that: A former human found a chaingun that spawned, picked it up. When it came in range of you, it went "Hey, I've got ammo for this chaingun. Why the hell shouldn't I use it!?". Similarly, the same could happen if it picked up both a shotgun and shotgun ammo, I would think.
