Very... masonic.  Heheheheheh...  The lighting seems more natural than the others before though -- I'm really digging it!

Happy to see that you're enjoying things laptop.

Here's my first attempt at a gif using the iray engine/shader.

That's a lot of fired rounds... is it deliberate that the fiend has such a smooth texture?

I think that was a result of the shader preset that I used on it(the fiend I mean).  Like I've said, I'm still learning the new engine and everything.

Here's some more messing around with Iray for you all.

I found a simple fog camera setup last night, the difference between these two renders is that 'Depth of Field' was used in the second one.

Man, I should know better than to look at your art thread in the middle of the night.  >.<

Sweet renders though.  It seems that you are starting to mess around with more textured/matte surfaces.

I like how you think Zicher, I was just thinking a former (?)

Aww, the light swords are clashing without sparks and stuff.

But overall, awesome work!

Hate to say that this month's contest is going to most likely be eating up my time rendering. I feel that I've set my bar high this time. The effect that I'm going for, requires my rendering the scene twice and using Photoshop to bring things together. My subject is wearing a different outfit in his reflection then he's actually wearing.  Problem is that each render is taking about an hour each, and that's before I've even worked on the lighting.

High bars of expectations are a good way to improve!  Can't wait to see what you have in store for us!  =D

Thanks Laptop, things were a little crazy last month even after I posted my final entry so sorry about not getting back right away.  I let you and every one else know how I did, once I know myself.

On that note, here's my newest render for you all.

This guy's grin and eyes are terrifying.  O.O

Also, assuming that the top is the barrel and the bottom some kind of light source, you may be missing a bullet and/or depth for the barrel itself.  =)
