This wasn't supposed to be a serious game.  I just fired up the game out of boredom at the end of the night, intending to play for ten minutes before going to bed.  I was just doing a stair-dive to see how long I could survive and then I unexpectedly found Malek's armour on level 15 and Nyarlaptotep's boots on level 20, completing the Inquisitor's set!  O_o  After that, I took it a bit more seriously and left the game on overnight and finished the following day.  The even more surprising lucky moment was on level 11 or so, when I ran out of med packs, was down to 2% health, and surrounded by enemies.  I thought I was about to die, so I figured, "what the hell?  I'll just use my last phase device" and it took me three steps away from a Supercharge.  But even then, I still thought I was about to die, because there was an imp in view and I was up against a wall, so even if it missed me, it would hit the wall and the area of effect would kill me, but somehow, miraculously, it didn't fire for the three steps it took to get to the Supercharge and the rest is history.  :)

With luck like that, I probably should've bought a lottery ticket, or played ArchAngel of Humanity or something.  :)

Another surprising thing...  I got a Major Icarus Cross in an Ao100 game!  :o  I mean I knew I was zipping around pretty fast, but I didn't think that was possible!  :o

Quite funny, indeed.
But real luck would have been to find your DS & BA on lvl 98/99 !

I guess you don't care much, but... shouldn't at least your 2nd pick of Iro be replaced with TaN, if not both ?

I certainly would have if Blademaster didn't block Tough as Nails.  :)

I was tempted to go without Ironman at all, since every firey barrage from Mancubi, Revenants, and Arch-Viles would trigger berserk without doing any damage, (also, a laughable encounter with a Lava Elemental cave) but Nightmare Arachnotrons were still a danger, so I ended up getting Iro at the end.

And yes, getting DS/BA would have been nice, especially since I only have to find one more DS to earn Armorer Diamond, but I guess it will have to wait for another day.  :)
