With confirmation I mean something like "Press [Enter] or [Reload Key]" and it should be optional (on/off switchin ini) for those who are not at twichy as me.
The reason for this request is that I do alot of sniping in AoM and sometimes I am so focused on aiming at the monsters that I don't notice the "your weapons is empty" line and press f and then press and hold down a direction key, which makes my brave marine charge the monster without any regards for personal safety.
So, show some mercy for cheap little snipers like me and add a confirmation when you try to shoot an empty weapon so I don't end up hugging the arch viles.

Seconded. I get myself into some problems every now and then when im moving instead of aiming because of an empty weapon.

No you dummy, reloading takes time during which monsters can move!

or did you suggest that so the mosnters could slaughter us more easily by making us reload without user input?

Yes, over all map and everything, it will be flashing, changing colors in random order. Or maybe like this:
                RELOAD

LOL, ArcadeMODE :D

There's a feature for you...  Arcade reload -- While firing, target an area off the map.
