Kill the V while it's immobile, kill the B at your own leisure. Even a Bruiser Brother should be fodder for a plasma rifle with the proper traits.

Looks like I've pressed the wrong button, so no fancy BB-codes here, but whatever.

Thing is, these two "^" near the doomguy are Megaspheres. And there is one more Megasphere right next to the stairs. And another one in one of the rooms to the left. And there is also an invulnerability globe in the room above the doomguy.
And two levels earlier I found the Railgun.)

Those were red/green barrels. I ran down the room, used up a med pack, and proceed to die on Level 20 clutching the Anti-Freak Jackal.
