This is how I started a new level (AoI). I wasn't excited, but rather p*ssed off! But fortunately I killed them all with a Missile Launcher...

The RNG really has it in for me. I'm trying to get to L15 in AoB (to achieve Captain) and it constantly does such things to me...

The =-filled level to the bottom left was all lava... Then I had to wade in acid... then lava again and a horde of monsters... grrrrrr....

Wiped out these guys but used up all medpacks... and the level has more liquid in it... Where the hell is the exit!

The RNG finally had some pity on me and left homing phase device...

I know this post is a few months old, but I wanted to say this anyway: in this situation, wouldn't it be best to drop a pistol, and then immediately move one space to the southwest? You may take up to two shotgun blasts before moving away, but most of the weapons fire will hit other enemies and not you; once you have dropped the pistol and moved SW, you are in a perfect position to use your chainsaw on each former human and former sergeant as they round the corner--which they will do, first to grab the pistol, then to grab whatever is dropped by the former humans and sergeants you have already killed there.

Maybe, but I got killed after my first turn anyway.
That was probably the shortest game I ever played =P

And the evil thing about this is that further on in the level, there were almost no enemies, except OF COURSE in the room I spawned =D
