I've long insisted that Berserk! is the CF game that has the most potential (DoomRL is obviously great, but there's not much more that can be done with it.) and it's a lot of fun so this makes me really happy.

You'd be surprised, there's a *lot* that can be done with DoomRL still :). Anyway, I'm happy someone (except me) enjoys Berserk :D

Berserk! is... kind of hard to describe. It's so much more than your normal, regular comic. You can feel the intensity, and the power. After reading it (waiting for ch 293), I realise why you're so inspired by it, Kornel. And the RL is cracking attempt at recreating the atmosphere.
And I'll bet GenRogue is somewhat influenced by Berserk!, no?

Kind of what I feel about Berserk!, too! I've not seen the anime, but the manga is just... well, awesome. I just wish Kentaro realeases ch 293 soon and Evil Genius translates it. ;-)

40K RL? Now THAT would be awesome! I think there was one on the net with Imperium and Orks fighting indoors in an abandoned tower in a forsaken planet, but I can't remember well.

If Kornel, or someone else, makes a 40K Roguelike, he/she must add the possibility as playing as a servant of Chaos, or he/she will be killed by my hand! BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!!
