For the record, I think that after this, I'm going to start recording all my games and posting the sweet ones. I'm not even a very good player by any standard, but I seem to have this knack for winding up in, and pushing through, completely batshit situations. I don't want to just tell everyone I beat half of Hell with my bare hands, they need to see it.

Because getting to L15 AoB is the last thing I need, that's what all my characters are going to be. Because I should already have it, they will all be named Guts Man, after the auspicious marine who did the deed in such a bombastic fashion that the gods would not allow his story to end. I will be recording all of them, and posting the ones that I am particularly proud or ashamed of. And so, here begin The Guts Man Chronicles!

Notice the end of L4. I know there's something bad over there, I just shut the door on it, but I've got this supercharge and I can't resist its siren call. After cleverly pulling away the first two, I foolishly dive into the fray, saved in the middle of the fight by the Berserker I just picked up. Although I won, this fight left me weakened at the start of the next level, which in turn caused another serious blunder. That one wasn't quite so bad though; sure, I could've just used another medpack, but the berserk pack was right there, and I had the running bonus. Be honest, how would you have handled that? :p
