Mostly just in AoB. Shorter LoS is always a good thing, and you can see when doors open on the map, so you know where humanoid enemies are rooting around.
Blade:
What's the point in laying some bait at the one side of the door, and then closing it and waiting at the other?

So I don't get shot at while waiting for the guy to come grab it. I could wait behind the wall I guess, but then I'm vulnerable from which ever side I'm not hiding behind. Also I just like the way it looks in my head. *opens door* "Hi, sucker."
