A message log saves all text that has been displayed on the upper side of the screen since you started the session. This might even be in the game and I haven't noticed it yet, but it isn't in the keybindings list. Anyways, I'm sure it'd come in handy in many situations, and it doesn't alter actual gameplay so I believe it'd be easy to code.

Yes, that would be helpfull.
Even one screen of history (~20 lines) should be enough.

I agree, just one screen would work allready! more would be better offcourse, but not very necessary.
