This one is for when one of the versions gets a mod menu or something along that line....PC SPEAKER SOUNDS!!! That would be a pretty neat feature! Espically the lost skulls sound, the Blurbloooblurblooooow!

(sarcastic remark of course :-/)

You can use PC speaker instead of a sound card in Linux (we just have to wait for the linux version to be released).

PC Speaker sounds can also be extracted by deutex alongside the .wav's but I'm unsure how easy to use their format is.

And if this feature has to be implemented, it shall be turned off by default. (not that it matters to me - I immediately disconnect wires from beepers on all computers I have to work with).

well, the good news, it seems, is that this can be done for those who want it (like me, just due to the neatness and more completedness of doomRL)
But dude, why take out your beeper? I missed my beeper in my last pc, it was gone.....
