Makes sence, I guess if this was implemented, then you'd probably want a pre-selected group of avatars, with a "click the avatar you want" screen in the preferences screen.

I mean, once you hit a HUGE amount of posts, (e.g. 500) as long as you have done your best not to spam, (under 5% or somthing), then you get to either:

1. Continue being a hell knight/baron of hell
2. Ask a mod/admin if you can have it changed to somthing else.

Sad to hear that. Possibly try a new forum template?

Well I was going to suggest invison (the forum template I see on most sites) but it turns out that costs 200-500 dollars...

Quoting: Turgormy title now might give people the wrong idea, like i can pull some strings and make stuff happen for DoomRL itself! (Not that i don't wish that was true ;D)
You already make me not sleep at night -- worrying that I'm doing DoomRL 0.9.9 and do stupid university work instead ^_^

Quoting: TurgorYeah, Wiki Admin would be better, as i am not really on your team ;)
Done ;-)

How about getting "Forum Team" instead of "Member" then? ;-)

It took a lot of work to make this forum look doomish, and I realy like the "simplicity" of it's design. I don't have time to teach myself a new board template system and make a new skin for it. Moreover minibb is realy lightweight, and considering that I have a 20MB cap on each single database, then minibb is even greater.

And even if, there are many great alternatives to bloated bug-ridden giants like Invision or phpBB. If I were to migrate to another board script now, it would probably be SMF.

SMF? Never heard of it.
