mortem.txt saved outside of 'mortem' folder
« on: March 05, 2008, 09:06 »

The file mortem.txt is saved in the main folder of DoomRL, and not in the subfolder 'mortem'.

DoomRL 0.9.8.9 on Windows XP Prof., 32bit

Then tell me why my mortem.txt is in the main, and not in the mortem, folder.

I quitted the game in any way, think it was via 'Q', and after that the file is being created in the main folder.

It is always created in the main folder, as does every roguelike. The saving of mortems in the mortem folder is a additional feature (think backup). If you think about it, it's quite logical :)

Ah, ok, now I understand, it's a feature, not a bug  ;-) In this case all is fine.
