Update:

 - backup of *.ini, *.bat, player.dat and score.dat during update
 - Website link to DoomRL in the start menu group

New installer and Inno Setup sources available on http://doomrl.bfgware.de/

DoomRL would definitively benefit from an installer. However, it is also true that DoomRL still doesn't behave well as a mullti-user app. I still need to fix those things before I will ship the installer :/

I'm not sure, do you have an own installer that you will release as the official one some day?

I wanted to do one using NSIS, but I never came to that point because of the lack of multi-user capabilities in DoomRL. However and installer will be strongly needed once we reach the modding stage (and a content downloader would be awsome too then...)

Baphomet:
Until you plan to release your own setup I will maintain the Inno installer - just for fun.

My next idea is to download the mp3 files during installation, as optional task.
