Yeah, Nightmare might be easier with pacifism than without. I don't think it deserves a blade difficulty rating. Angel of berserk is 10 times harder.

I would love to see a replay of that game. How is it possible to get to character level 17? One level up per 2 dungeon levels makes only 13.

When monsters are killing each other, you gaing exp. It's possible to levelup this way on early levels where you don't need much exp for it.

I think I got a level from monsters killing each other, and I went to some special levels which also count towards the level up per 2 dungeon levels.
