Closing game from menu or window

First of all, me being new, thanks for the great game!

So, I played a few games of the new version 0.9.10 on Windows and after my decent shotgun game I closed the game when I noticed I was in a rush. What I didn't do, was close the game from the menu, but I clicked the X on the upper right corner. This caused that the game didn't save my games, but I have the mortems.

I don't think this was a problem in an older version, as I usually don't close the game from the menu.
