Spoiler (click to show/hide)1-I used to have the PR and CG as my favs, but now I use pretty much anything depending on the situtation.
2-Shotgun:Combat shotgun and Double shotgun make it worthless.
3+4-They all have their place.
5-Damage-Nothing like dishing out more punishment ;)
6-All useful.
7+8-Durability and Protection are on par with me...Mobility not so much.
9-Protection+Plasteel=Lava gives up trying.
10-Nothing wrong with em.
11-Everyone likes a megasphere.
12-They all have their place.
13-Former Captains:Bullets everywhere!
14-Revenant:I hated them in FPS doom...and that will not change here.
15-I'm split between the two, Malek's armor regens and allows you to move fast, Missile launcher pwns large groups of foes easily.
16-Necroarmor:Always thought it was to counter-productive.
17-The wall:You might think I'm crazy, but I love the wall. Its fun. When you have ammo. And know how to win it.
18-Yes...thats right...I hate the surface. I'm afraid of the sky :O
19-Hellish city:Great for cateye.
20-Maze:Lava, lava everywhere :(...and cateye becomes next to useless.
21-I like doors. Very useful things.
22-All have their place...
23-Cateye:Nothing like killing a foe before he gets in range to hit you.
24-Badass:Not something I would waste a trait on.
25-Ultra Violence!:The name says it all.
26-All are fun. In their own way.
27-100 levels of mayhem.
28-Masochism:Pure torture.
29-9:Great random game.

I think the Chaingun is the best weapon in the game, but my favorite is the pistol. I really like playing the Marksmanship challenge game for that reason.
2: I - Plasma Rifle
They just eat through ammo too much. I can't carry enough ammo to make them worth while. I always use the chaingun instead.
3: B - Large Medpack
These keep me alive. :)
4: 0 - I like all items
I am a packrat. I want to have at least one of each item at all times.
5: A - Damage
Kills things faster
6: E - Accuracy
I use traits to help me hit better.
7: A - Durability
Makes the armor last longer.
8: C - Mobility
I just think the other two are better. *shrugs*
9: C - Mobility
Mobility always helps. The other two only help when you are in acid/lava.
10: B - Protection
I would rather have my boots last longer or move faster.
11: C - Invulnerability
This is a really tough choice, but I have to say that I am always happiest to see invulnerability. Honorable mentions go to Megasphere, Supercharge, and Backpack.
12: 0 - None
They are all very welcome in a game.
13: F - Former Captain
They keep my changun and pistols fed. I really like seeing Former Captains.
14: L - Arch Vile
I put Arch Vile here because they scare the crap out of me, but that is what makes them an excellent enemy and a good challenge. I rate them as suckiest because they are the enemy I most dread running into, not because I dislike them.
15: L - Malek's Armor
Makes you speedy and regens so you don't need to carry as much spare armor around. Honorable mentions go to Blaster, Nuclear Plasma Rifle, and all the pistol uniques.
16: M - Minigun
Meh. It burns through to much ammo and a modded chainun is better.
17: B - Hell's Arena
It is a fun challenge early in the game.
18: K - The Lava Pits
Never seems worth it to me. You have to carry around enviro suits to get through it or use up lots of healing.
19: E - Maze of rooms
The rooms sometimes make it so you can take this level a chunk at a time.
20: D - Maze
Big piles of baddies in the middle of the map = yikes!
21: I - Wall
These keep the enemy from shooting me until I want to face them. Honorable mention goes to water. If I kill an enemy in water, an Arch Vile cannot raise it. Also Stairs. Knowing where the stairs are is always comforting.
22: A - Acid
It hurts. And enemies do not kill themselves on it anymore. :(
23: M - Dualgunner
My favorite way to play. What can I say, I am a sucker for theme and cinematics. Most used traits are probably EE, SoB, Ironman, Fin, WK.
24: P - Badass
Yes, there are certain challenge games in which it is useful, but that is it. I would never ever take it in a normal game.
25: D - HMP
Difficult, but still kind enough that you can regularly win. I also really like UV, but it often ends in death, especially in Marksmanship games.
26: A - ITYTD
My first game of DoomRL was ITYTD and I got so bored I quit on dlvl 15. I hadn't seen anything new in so long it became tedious. I didn't know I was on the verge of seeing more difficult things. My next game was NTR and that game hooked me.
27: B - Marksmanship
No contest. You probably could have guessed this was coming.
28: H - Masochism
This game is really, really hard for me. It seems to be mostly luck whether or not you can win.
29: 9 - Excellent!
DoomRL is certainly in my top 3 roguelikes. It is tactical, challenging, immersive, and relatively short.
