On level 7 he ventured into the Halls of Carnage.
Then at last he found Phobos Arena!
On level 12 he finally defeated the Cyberdemon.

You reload the BFG 9000 with power cell. The Cyberdemon fires! You are hit!
You use a large med-pack. You feel fully healed. The Cyberdemon reloads his
rocket launcher.
Fire -- Choose target... The missile hits the Cyberdemon. The Cyberdemon
fires! Boom!
Fire -- Choose target... The Cyberdemon dies. Congratulations! You defeated

Before him 125 brave souls have ventured into Phobos:
100 of those were killed.
2 didn't read the thermonuclear bomb manual.
And 2 couldn't handle the stress and committed a stupid suicide.
Some rumours though, say that the Cyberdemon was killed already!
Is he immortal? 21 souls claim to have killed him...
3 sacrificed itself for the good of mankind.
15 killed the bastard and survived.
3 showed that it can outsmart hell itself.

Well, this was a really crappy run. Especially my accuracy was shameful, I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn! I missed like 30% of all rockets I shot. And if you ask me to shoot at the ground with my chaingun, I would probably have missed it. Yes, even with that accuracy mod >=[
I also stepped into 'hidden' lavapools A LOT (There were items lying on them).
There were almost no special levels, hells arena and chained court were skipped by the game so I missed much, much useful stuff.
Further on I also learned that the player, together with lots of imps and HK's at the one side of a lava river, and 2 Arch-Viles at the other side is @$$. =)
Luckily I had a Holy Homing Phase Device.
And I also did some painful things simply because I wasn't concentrated. Like for example I shot a revenant in a tight corridor, thinking I was holding my combat shottie but it turned out to be... my rocket launcher.
I assume you guys know the feeling. =D
Umm... what did I also encounter?... Oh wait, I know. In the last Phobos Base level I was spawned in an arena between 2 pain elementals, 1 caco, 1 BoH, some rather annoying enemies like former humans and imps, and last but not least... An Arch-Vile! Ta-daaa! *Puts tongue in cheeks* Damn I hate those little...
And finally at the end I killed Cyberdemon. Yes, even after all that trouble I could accomplish it! I was really like "WOO! TAKE THAT, YOU LITTLE @#$+§&!!!!" (Well OK, not literally, but sure mentally)
