I would have had a higher score, but I entered a vault at level 21. I thought the better of it as I remembered on Ultra-Violence those things are full of arch-viles and I would have been dog meat in seconds. Turning tale and running was a good idea - right when I spawned on level 22 I found a Grammaton Beretta right next to me!  No savescumming, this was played over two days in between drunken benders. It was really fucking touch and go at times, with hordes of Mancubi, Revenants and Barons of Hell hiding behind teams of 2-3 of those damned Arch-Viles. I sometimes limped down with no armor, 6% health, no medikits and a prayer. Reloader is what saved my ass.

My final battle with the Cyberdemon pretty much went like this: Grabbed a supercharge on lv24, hopped in and plugged him with the Grammaton beretta and a cracked out adv. pistol until he stopped moving. Thermonukes are for pansies!

I rewrote the Angel of Marksmanship guide on the wiki based on my experiences. EVERY AoMr run NEEDS to take at least a level of Reloader! MY GOD does it increase your survivability. I attribute my survival to putting traits in Reloader.

This is my first post on the forums and my first victory since picking up DoomRL again. Figured I'd start with a bang.
