So I went for a new build with less badass and more SOAB.

After the last embarrassing defeat at the hands of cyber demon, this time I kept the thermonuke.  And stocked up on those homing phasers too, and when I hit hell dlvl7 or so, I started using those up to get down faster.  On lvl 24, I got the message 'something very special' so against my better judgement I went ahead to look.  I found a computer map, and from there I saw the real prize.  Not some green but the invul orb around the corner.  I picked it up, phased, and nuked cybie.

Then I went down and spammed BFG until the ultimate evil died.  (I got lucky, I had 10 hp left and when that dude took a shot at me, he ended up hitting his own guy instead, rocketing himself.  that gave me enough time to finish him off)

First full win ever---!!!
