Check whether you close game properly (no killing it via "X").
Make sure that files are not read-only.

Son of a b**ch! now it suddenly killed my Angel of light Travel from atleast 8 games back <I finished 12 Rank/experience/challenges in a row> because it CRASHED when I got that 8d8 staff thing on HMP on motherfreaking AoMa!!
