Well... for one thing, it's called a "double barrel shotgun" for a reason. It only has two barrels, so I imagine it's somewhat difficult to increase that capacity at all.
Unless it had a magazine, that is, but I've never seen a semi-auto DBS before.

Oh, yeah, accuracy *and magazine* mods can't be used in SGs. My bad.
That leaves damage, reload and speed mods. That's 5 mods and a max of 12 mod slots.
I haven't been keeping track of the details lately, and many keep skipping my mind :)
