Pickup quotes for uniques
Captain Trek:
I've always assumed that most of the uniques didn't have pickup quotes (in fact, discounting the angelic armour and the longinus spear, only one, the Butcher's Cleaver with it's, "Aah, fresh meat!" has a pickup quote) because no one could ever think up any good ones... For that, reason I decided to make this thread... Perhaps with enough people making suggestions we'll get a few decent ones...
Here area few of my ideas:
BFG10K: I was thinking we could use another quote from the Doom comic for this one... "Hail to the chief!" is my preferred candidate...
Anti-Freak Jackal: I think something short, simple and God related like, "Hallelujah!' or, "Praise the lord!" would be best here...
Nuclear BFG/plasma rifle: I was trying to think of a clever pun on the Doomguy's, "Now I'm radioactive!" quote, but all I could come up with was, "There's a "now I'm radioactive" pun in here somewhere, but I'd rather not..."
What do you think? Got any ideas?
