Running Commentary written as playing:

Floor 2: Two Enemy Spawning levers... finally got to use my shotgun. Skipped Arena, plan on skipping Wall.

Floor 3: Two easy kills thanks to barrel in starting room... lost a medpack. I miss having a number pad, must re-assign diagonal movement keys after dying. Used first medpack after being ambushed by a shotgunner. Berserk pack saved my ass after Armor broke. I now have more than twice as many shells as 10mm.

Floor 4: "The Smell of a massacre... The air is really humid here..." If only there was an Arch-vile, then I could really take it to town here. Two imps in starting room. Finally found some damn boots. Will use pistols until Shottyman gained. Room with 4 levers, don't have intuition yet... shit. Lever 1 was a barrel trigger. Lever 2 was meditech. LEver 3 was summoner, didn't spawn in room. LEver 4 was spawner, spawned imp, 2 pistoliers in room...

Floor 5: Spawned in room with imp, armor shard, barrel. Fuck yeah Chaingun! Dumped pistol, still working for Shottyman... but I can take a break and work for Int 3 as well. Found a meditech lever in the nick of time, almost had to use a medpack. Speed Mod! Oh YEAH! Found Supercharge, didn't take it. Skipped Chained Court.

Floor 6: There is an armor shard here in starting room. There is also a lever here, but also a barrel, and it's a small room... and the lever was an exploder lever... glad I shot down a door! Computer map! two large, 1 small health packs (good luck getting to pick them up!), everything else is monsters. Took an envirosuit that had been carried, also blue armor. Dropped smallest stack of ammo (48 shells) for LHP. Found a lever that did nothing. Swapped SHP for LHP.

Floor 7: "The smell of a massacre..." Blood Lever in start room. Used SHP after a scuffle with 3 imps. Found an exploder, almost got fried. Used LHP after a Shotgunner/Chaingunner ambush... I really miss diagonal movement. Used shells as bait. Used SHP to get Phase Device.

Floor 8: Got better boots. COMBAT BOOPIN' SHOTTY! Now I can make some boopin' PROGRESS! Computer map shows nothing else of interest, will kill other enemies on floor now. I really miss having 'x' set to special reload ('R') now.

Floor 9: Almost got fried by a barrel. Good thing I still had that chaingun... Heh, lotsa barrels here in this city of rooms. There is a Hell Knight here somewhere, must be careful. SPEED MOD FUCK YEAH! Used a LHP to beat the swarm that the HK was in.

Floor 10: "The smell of a massacre... You feel there is something really valuable here!" Started in a room with 3 demons... armor almost dead, one LHP left... I really need Shottyman. HK killed armor, I killed it back. Used LHP. Used Damage mod on Chaingun.
Replacement armor was on acid, damnit. Avoided barrels, ambushed a Cacodemon. Found missile launcher, will probably never use it. Second HK damaged second blue armor, corpse now wears 34% blue armor (its, not mine.) Walked into a demon, two volleys from Chaingun ended the threat on this floor. Found a blood lever, saw first Energy Cells.

Floor 11: "There's the smell of blood in the air! You shiver from cold... You feel there is something really valuable here!" Intro room has lever, not pulling it. Used Phase Device to try and get to the valuable thing. Found Phaseshift Boots! Found an exploder lever. Need LHP. Killed by an imp that dealt 13 damage. Made it to Former Human Corporal.

What sort of build were you going for?
Your traits don't seem at all cohesive. Son of a Gun is useless for a non-pistol build, Reloader is nice as it leads to shottyman, but EE is useless with shotguns. On the flipside, I rarely, if ever, find myself reloading in combat with a chaingun. I doubt the viability of going with both, considering how disparate the builds are.

I wasn't exactly sure where I was going with my build myself... I was taking SoG up until I got my chaingun, and I always start with Eagle Eye except for AoMr and AoB runs. I didn't really work hard towards Shottyman until I had the combat shotty.

I *really* need to get around to remapping my keys...
