Pretty much, I can give a hand with this one, if people is still needed. Time? I have plenty of it. Knowledge of ChaosForge games? Considering that I (Probably) guessed which the new DS requirements are (No testing as-of now, because I couldn't find the DS again), that would be a given. I have plenty of ideas (Mostly coming from crazy weapons and any other weird shit) and... I don't know. Do I have great communication skills? That's something others should tell me if I have.

Hi Kornel,
first, to introduce myself: During my university times, I was doing some side-job PHP/MySQL programming. One of these was an application for maintaining contact databases, exported from MS Outlook and imported via CSV files. Further funcionality allowed searching within this database by text-parsed criteria, allowing several criteria in a single text line.
This is why I consider myself to be able to do such parsing of those .wad files, once I know their structure.
In my current full-time job, I'm heavily involved in data warehouse building, which requires me to build a sufficient DB structure for quick data reading, and eventually building comprehensive reports upon these DWs. If you ever heard of Business Intelligence, you know what I'm talking about :).
For this reasons, I trust myself to be able to create a quickly-responding DB structure of the parsed data, and, if the data amount is too high to be quick enough, I have experience with data aggregation, which further enhances the DB access.
Now, it's been quite some time since my last PHP experience (about four years), but I know that I can get back on this train quickly. Also, I have no experience with Python - but again, I learn quickly when I find something interesting.
Also, to be honest, I'm no graphic designer - I know CSS and can well use any standing CSS for displaying the results, but I simply am not too good with creating any new graphics. Also, my availability differs from time to time - my full-time simply needs to have priority.
Now, from what I know about the .wad file structures, I assume that you'd like something like a player.wad and score.wad, with _all_ players included, and with similar filtering functions as present now in DoomRL, with abilities to display individual player's .wad files, as well as their aggregations based on whatever conditions. Is that right?
If you have any particular ideas about the stats display and forum integration, go ahead and post them. If you are also willing to share the .wad structure with me, I can set up my own free webspace and try to get some work done on the parser and the subsequent DB work.
With regards,
ZicherCZ

I would love to help with the C++ coding. Unfortunately, I don't know how much time I can commit, but if there are any small projects that need to be worked on, I would greatly enjoy helping out. I'm heading into my senior year at college and coding is my primary interest with C++ being my strongest language.
I have always wanted to get into some game programming, so I can't guarantee how good I would be at this type of project, but I am eager to learn and see what I can do.

I'm interested in helping out with this also, as I have built several systems from scratch as PHP/MySQL applications, both creating the system and interface as well as designing the database. My schedule might not let me help with this as much as I'd like, but I at least want to offer help, as I haven't been able to put my knowledge of PHP and MySQL to good use in a while.
Gamer-man:
Although it isn't listed, may I work on updating and sprucing up the instruction manual? I think it could use some major "sprucing up" and I have read a lot of instruction manuals, including the original one for doom, so I think i could improve it.
