Once I thought visiting the Vaults was a good idea and since I didn't know (yet) how to enter the rooms after rocketing the center room (nor did I have any phase devices) I came up with an idea: "Hey this bomb ought to do it!". Little did I know how strong the bomb actually was and blew myself into atoms (along with monsters and all that treasure, d'oh) :P I was carrying some seriously good stuff with me so I was kinda disappointed, it was my first game in ages (last time I tried DoomRL like 2 years ago). Didn't save the mortem for YASD material though.

I think there is still possibility, that the mortem is in your mortem directory.

Oooh there's a directory. Luckily I found it... It wasn't my first game after all but one of the first ones. Though I noticed I played on W (Wussy difficulty). Damn I loved that missile launcher :P

And OMG, why so many med-packs? Do you intend throwing them at monsters at later levels when you run out of ammo? [:

If everything else fails on E difficulty you can throw melons at them (provided that you upgraded the hidden SoM "Son of Melon" trait)! + I'm addicted... need... more... MED-PACKS!

Compare my atomic age game ('t was the 7th one) to this recent one and tell me if there's any improvement (other than BigFuckinMED-PACKS!)
