  Im getting way to many crashees with DoomRL.  The majority of them happen when I enter a new level, and it dosent throw an error code just "DoomRL has stopped working" and I loose my save as well.  Occasionaly it will happen when walking or fighting, i've already lost 5 promising characters to this, any idea whats causing it?  Running Vista Ultimate 32bit.  never had this problem before.

It's probably due to SDL mixer sound incompatibility with Vista. The next version ( probably to be released at the end of this month ) will have FMOD sound. Please try it then, I have strong hopes that it will fix the problem.
