"If I wasn't gunning for that stubber..." he added quietly, leaning out from behind cover briefly, only to duck down again and only stick his lasgun out from hiding, holding down the trigger and peppering the cover where the enemies were hiding with lasbolts, not really trying to hit anyone, but intending to keep their heads well down.

Laz tried to take down man he wounded before but since there was no one in sight he ducked back behind cover.
