Machine Spirit PBF
Xander Morhaime:
Halsted, after a brief search of the remaining corpses, came away with two extra grenades, a half-full autogun and a brace of fresh magazines. Leaving the stubber and autogun in his previous spot of cover, he ran over to at least help drag the Eldar into some form of cover before setting down the las carbine and a fresh power cell by his side. "Maybe you'll be less likely to charge into enemy fire, pointy-eared psycho," the guardsman growled, before returning to his cover, reloading the autogun with a fresh mag before bracing up the stubber in a semi-fixed position to cover as much ground as possible and working to clear the jam.
Passionario:
Her eyes darting in search of danger, Pass cautiously advanced to where the bleeding Eldar lay. 'Pathetic wretch' she silently thought, examining his injuries with eyes devoid of compassion. Still, his was technically considered Inquisitorial property, and she was given a direct order, so it looked as though the xeno would live to see another day, after all.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)Staunch Bleeding, followed by Healer.
Single-die rolls, both time.
Gargulec:
Despite being half-concious, eldar yelled in agony, as Warp powers forced his wounds to knit and stopped him from bleeding out. But his breath became less ragged, and it would appear that Silarriel escaped death for now.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)Both powers used, Silharriel is now stabilized, and he wont die right away. However, he is still at 0 wounds, and any further damage will kill him for good.
Pass gets 100XP, for amazing display of Warp powers
Marcus gets 50XP, for thinking, and taking eldar to the cover. Otherwise, psyker would get sniped.
Silhar:
The Eldar coughed heavily, yelling and spitting blood to the ground. He suddenly tore open his eyes, glancing in terror at the woman's face above him...
Camilla: You, sir, should unmask.
Stranger: Indeed?
Cassilda: Indeed it's time. We all have laid aside disguise but you.
Stranger: I wear no mask.
Camilla: (Terrified, aside to Cassilda.) No mask? No mask!
-THE KING IN YELLOW: Act I Scene 2
Nobody really knows what did he see in the psyker's face. Or maybe beneath it ? What ever it was, it forced the Eldar to hold his breath and prone backwards, despite deep wounds confining him hard.
He went calm after few seconds.
"T...thank you, miss.", Eldar's face twitched in a spasm of pain while he whispered. "Seems like I owe a debt to you."
Xander Morhaime:
"Save the thanks for later," Halsted hissed, pressing a las carbine into the Eldar's hands. "We've got more hostiles inbound. Try not to get your head blown off this time..." he suggested, before running back to his prepared firing position.
