MRS Morey - PBF
Gargulec:
Shioban gave the battlefield a quick look.
'Quite a mess' she ascertained. 'And...' she crouched next to one of the corpses and picked up something...
*ka-click*'...yes, finally, a rifle. I would not feel complete without it. Haikatsu mark II, I'd say, by the look of it.
Shioban unloaded her new weapon and cheked how many bullets are left in magazine. Then, with a sigh, she begun to dig among the corpses, looking for any ammo left behind. After a while, she emerged, holding a single clip and swearing heavily.
'What the heck they were dipped in? Burns like acid.' she mumbled, reaching for canteen and pouring water on her hands.
'Okay, it's fine now. Lieutanent, as far as I remember, your assault rifle uses same ammo as this junk. Could you lend me a spare clip?'
Malek Deneith:
Hagazi looked as if he eaten something sour for a moment, but pulled out two magazines - one featuring a red stripe at the bottom, the other white.
- Magazines. They're magazines not clips. Anyway these will have to do - the red-striped one holds AP rounds, white has regular ones. Hopefully trat will suffice until we find proper armory. Doc, you want to check out the corpses, or do we move along?
Silhar:
"Yup. Give me a while.", he said, already crouching between the man's body and an alien's dead flesh. He pulled out environmental gloves and strapped them on, then, holding tightly his shotgun with right hand, he carefully examined both victims.
"This thing can have some dangerous chemicals inside.", he explained and moved forward to an expertise.
"That beast doesn't remind me any animal I've seen before. Strong muscles concentrated on its legs - probably can run very fast and has a tight grip or a sharp blow. Its blood is alkaline or acidous, I'm not sure, at least it burns as hell. A light chitin armor, but our bullets are just enough to punch through. Aim for the head, it seems like a cephalid - this is where the brain's probably located - inside the skull. Doesn't bite too hard, but its claws... do you remember that poor worker ? Don't let them jab you or you'll get poisoned to death in no time...
That's all. I'd tell more if you let me make a section in some clean, equipped lab.", he said after a while of pondering and observation, then he stood up and put off his gloves, putting them behind his belt.
"Everything alright, Toy ? Need treatment maybe ?", Doc asked, glancing at her hands.
Gargulec:
'Treatment?' she replied, grinning. 'You made me amused. Anyway, I am fine... Thanks for the intentions, though.'
Silhar:
"And next time... Don't pour acid with water, unless you want it spilling around everywhere. Thank God that it didn't react... If it's an acid, of course."
