Silhar:
"Yup. Keep the pace."

Xander Morhaime:
Bob cleared his throat lightly. "I know you must be eager and all to walk the whole span of the bridge, but we kind of built these so we wouldn't *have* to walk the whole way," he spoke up. "There's moving walkways built into the floor. Just a matter of turning them on and we can get across that much quicker, you know?"

With that, Bob moved off to the side, quickly finding a small console by the bridge's wall. A few moments of work later, there was a faint click, then a humm as a section of the floor began moving.

"Mind your step," Bob added as he waited for the others to step onto the transmission belt.

The moving walkway wasn't terribly faster than plain walking, but given the length of the bridge, it did make a bit of a difference. The closer you got to the other end, though, the stronger that stench of decay became. By the time you stepped off the far end of the transmission belt, it was almost overpowering. There were two dead bodies lying just a few metres from the end of the bridge, a man and a woman, face down, their backs a bloody mess, and with quite a lot of their blood decorating the floor and walls. The smell was too strong to be coming from them alone, however.

Bob didn't seem to take to the smell well - he'd become pale, and was in fact now turning green at the sight of the corpses.

Silhar:
"Cover me if need arises.", sneered Doc, advancing towards the corpses lying on the ground.
He crouched and took a look at both, checking if his knowledge would give any interesting information on the reason of death, on the perp or on anything else.

Xander Morhaime:
Considering the amount of blood around the place, the deep wounds and a few missing chunks of flesh, the most likely cause would be either blood loss, or shock from the trauma. The wounds look like they were inflicted with something with claws and teeth. It's a bit hard to get anything more from a body that'd been lying unattended for 3 days in the open. The smell they give off isn't helping any either.

Gargulec:
'What were you expecting to learn, Doc?' asked Shioban, poking the corpse with the barrel of her rifle.
