DoomRL Community Modding team

So.

The time has come, my little friends. Modding is almost upon us (You thought 9.9? Think again! HA! Think 9.9.5 ;> )

In anticipation of that, i'm announcing a DoomRL Community mod plan, open to anyone (Except for people with <50 posts. HA!).

The team would consist of about 4-8 main modders, but input would be encouraged from anyone and would be seriously looked at.

The changes would be more of a Chaosforge Forum RL with a total Weapons scheme, Badges, Medals, Uniques and stuff. All monsters would become V's as well

So, Chaosforge, it's in your hands. What do you think?

That sounds cool.

I don't feel up to the task of doing any actual modding, but I wouldn't mind throwing some ideas around and testing for bugs or whatever.

Meh, sounds fun, but then again, I have a tendency to disappear for weeks at a time. I'll go with the Lazyass option.

I'd be happy to help and participate, yet I lack skills in, for example, programming. Beta-testing, probably yes. Or, if modding wouldn't be that hard as it actually sounds to be, then I'm ready for some new knowledge. ;)

Can you give any additional details as to what kind of mod it'll be or is that for the team to decide?  A total conversion or just a massive add-on pack to what DoomRL already has?
