YASD - JC style

Yes, i finally made it to JC after a whole day of savescumming (so sue me :P)
I used a save at the start of Hell (saved at the stairs at level 15) and quit the game when i didn't see any invulnerability globes near the stairs to Phobos Arena.

I got JC down to wounded, then used a phase device to get away from the BoHs he kept summoning. The game crashed at that point, and this dump is from the retry.

 He fought on Hell's Arena.

He killed the Cyberdemon, just to find a greater evil...
 He discovered true Hell!

-- General ---------------------------------------------------

Before him 59 brave souls have ventured into Phobos:
 33 of those were killed.
3 of those were killed by something unknown.
2 didn't read the thermonuclear bomb manual.
And 4 couldn't handle the stress and commited a stupid suicide.

Some rumours though, say that the Cyberdemon was killed already!
Is he immortal? 17 souls claim to have killed him...
4 sacrificed itself for the good of mankind.
13 killed the bastard and survived.

--------------------------------------------------------------

I had power cells and plasma rifles aplenty, but didn't find a special level with a BFG :(

Well, I'm not a world class player, so I have trouble enough getting to level 18 :P Still, you killed him a lot, 17 times, according to the mortem

Well done on a world class savescumrun!

I just have one question though - 4 sacrificed itself for the good of mankind?

Question the first - Itself?

Question the second - What do you need to get that message? Nuke yourself and the CD?

The only place I know of to find the 'BFG9000' is 'Halls of Carnage'

The intel that fallows was taken from the DOOMrl Wiki page.

Found: After the wall. No specific level.

Enemies: Former sergeants, lost souls, demons, cacodemon/s, 2 barons of hell.

Entering text: You feel the lust for blood!

Finished/Exiting text: N/A

Reward: THE BFG9000! 6 x Rockets, 2 x 20 Energy Cells

Hope this helps son.

Looks like 'Spider's Lair' has one also, but I've yet to get there.

The city of skulls has 2, but you need one before hand if you want to try and get them.

Question the first - Itself?

Yes, apparently... It should say themself

You are correct. I've done it a few times because i was bored trying to kill him in other ways. You get a message that hints on the special ending btw, but i never could figure it out till this whole JC thing got exposed.

Thanks, but i am a Wiki Admin, and know it by heart ;)
The special levels that hold BFGs just weren't generated during this particular game.

I've never fired a BFG in the city of skulls. What would one need it for exactly?

Possibly the lost souls, but there are lots of other uses for the BFG in the city of skulls other than that as well. [/sarcasm]

You can't use a rocket launcher to kill the lost souls in the city of skulls. You'll either kill yourself, or get killed.

I found it once, on Halls of Carnage, but it hasn't been there since. And I get Halls of Carnage almost every time. Am I missing something? - Or does it know I'm using an external hacker to pin my health forever to 200?

You may be destroying it before picking it up, it must be made carefully
