Armor Shards
« on: October 20, 2009, 00:50 »

It would be cool if there were armor shards that act like the helmets in the original doom. One's that add a little bit more armor protection to the armor you have instead of having to lug around several sets for when your current armor wears out. I know there are levers that repair armor, but I don't seem to encounter them very often.

But there are armour shards. They repair your armour and boots

Yeah. I just read that on the wiki. Apparently I've never encountered one yet. at least not that I can remember.  I was trying to delete this post before anyone replied. I feel pretty silly now. Maybe the shards could be more common?

You should always have a few sets of armour handy. Relying on armour shards isn't gonna get you far :P

I don't get to play that often, and I'm not that great at it. I rarely get past level 10 sometimes.

I only recently started trying to play again since the new version came out.

Well, you will encounter Armour Shards more often than the Megasphere which is an Urban Legend

Is not! Three in one run is not an urban legend!

One in *ANY* run is an urban legend. Ask anyone if they had found Megasphere....

One in *ANY* run is an urban legend.

On any non-AoPu/AoMs run, you mean.

I saw a Megasphere last night.

Too bad it was in my "TSearched Games Only" directory.

Also, did the Thermie damage increase? I swear it used to *only* do 200 damage to everything on the map...

Long story short: the MegaSphere is something they don't believe in.
