Melee weapon on AoMr

Really, it's saving time. To get the Longinus Diamond normally, you've gotta get something like Dervis had (AOP Cybernetic armour) with infinity fucking bajillion Large Medipacks and the Chainsaw. You'd get that combination eventually, it would just take forever.

I'd be saving time ;)

I was. I had a knife handy, so I switched out, attacked once, and got ripped apart. Cue tears :(

Also, playing on AoSg might make it that little bit easier. After all, killing multiple enemies with one shot IS handy.
