Hello, all!
I've started a game where I firmly decided on shotgun-heavy
run.  I'm up to Shottyman/Badass, one step away from the Army
of Dead, when I discover ... Grammaton Cleric Beretta and,
on the very next level, advanced chaingun!  Well, Rel(2) is
not fully wasted with Beretta, and Badass is fine, but at this
point I could have been with SoB(2) or (3), and things are going
to get much rougher in the next couple of levels.  Anyway:
is it too late to switch tactics and try a chain weapons build?
I haven't got enough experience with the new version, so I'm
at a loss...

Stay with the shotguns, it's waaay too late now. You'll see you'll ALWAYS find great weapons but with the wrong build anyway (that's exactly why the RNG is said to be so evil :D)

I once found a Blaster on 1-st level of Ao100 run. The start trait was SoaB. So no MGK! This made me to invent special blaster-only build. I was going to be unstoppable. I could kill anything. But got instakilled by trap of 3 arachno.

Really, RNG spawns interesting items on wrong runs.IMHO advanced weapons aren't worth of changing the tactik, and GCB is good with SoaG+EE, not Rel+Bad.
