AliansRL - multiple characters

When I was a link to AliensRL I got quite excited as I recall the original C64 version allowed you to control and/or monitor 6 characters at once.

Anyone contemplated multiple characters in a Rogue-Like game.. give them simple orders 'Ripley: bring me that flame thrower' or 'Ripley: walk straight ahead and shoot anything that moves'

Maybe this is too-far from Rogue to be Rogue-Like.. but I can imagine it in my minds eye.. (gazes off into the distance).

PS.. forgot to congratulate you guys (whoever you are) on these amazing games: DoomRL and AliensRL
