Trevor had always enjoyed sneaking around, even as a child. But early on, he was caught sneaking into one of Optimum Corp's restricted labs, curious as to what was inside. Optimum's chief of security, however, decided that instead of charging the boy and sending him to jail for many years, to train him as one of their deep cover agents. Trevor became "Bob", a wandering bandit in the local sector, using his petty crime activities to build a reputation and keep track of activities around the area that would affect Optimum's success. His roguish characteristics even attracted a girlfriend from the same criminal circles. However, they did not live together, as each had their own enterprises to handle.
Recently, however, Optimum decided they had to know more about a certain research lab in the CL-031 system, and assigned Trevor to infiltrate it. Trevor was able to join the lab as a handyman assistant, as a jack of all trades was very useful to deal with whatever arose in a remote location. He covered many of the odd jobs that had to be done on site, while using whatever opportunities arose to dig into the secrets of the lab. One day, a security alert occurred - a golden opportunity for Trevor to sneak around while others were distracted. He was able to sneak into the security tower, but then he heard the sounds of real gunfire and combat - the alert was more than a drill! Finding the most isolated place he could find, he locked himself into the monitoring room, where he waited fearfully for the outcome.
