I've been saying for a long time already, change the shotgun/pistol ammo color, for crying out loud, or at least externalize it into ini.
Same with stairs, main stairs should not be white. After a fierce fight with map revealed it sometimes takes me a good 30 seconds or more to locate the damn stairs, especially if its surrounded by pistols.

The large medpack is hard to locate when there's a lot of blood around. I always have trouble finding it after clearing Hell Arena.

And sometimes I have trouble distincting pistol (ammo) from shotgun (ammo) cause of the poor contrast (it's more clear if you play fullscreen but I can't with this Vista :'( )
Also a double shotgun looks annoyingly like a simple pistol..

For some reason I've NEVER mistaken a double shotty, even though it looks very similar to the pistol. But yeah, that one needs a color change too.
