Visions slowly fade away. There's no more stormtroopers around... except one bloody clone, mocking at him. Vincent is back in the jungle. His throat is sore, his head seems to burn from inside, his lips are dry...
He slowly stands up, making use of Jedi's hand.
"Thank you.", he whispers silently, smiling, but not without fatigue.
Then, he grabs a blaster from the ground and raises his head, weakly clutching the weapon in his hand.

'Let us get going' the zabrak commandeered. 'We've wasted enough time here.'

She led you through obscure pathways to the wrecked coreship. With her guidance, you were able to reach it much sooner than you would on your own.

Standing next to the ship made it look enormously big, towering over you and obscuring the sun. You could clearly see many burns and breaches on the hull- clones did a good job bringing it down.

'Let me welcome you to the little, humble place I dare to call home' said Triz, smirking. She pointed you towards one of the breaches, placed so continently that it allowed you to get inside.

To your surprise, despite all the damage and time that has passed since this ship was in use, interior was still lit by dim, red emergency lights.

'CIS built this ships really robust' explained Triz. 'And with a reliable power plant.

After a while, you reached the CIC of the ship. Apparently, your guide has adopted it to serve as a habitat, for you could see many boxes of food rations and a two sleeping bags stuffed in the corner, along with numerous other personal items scattered all over the room. Quiet buzz of the machinery indicated that at least portion of it was still working.

"Charming place," CX muttered under his breath. "I don't think we'll be staying long, though. The sooner we get to that trader and acquire the parts we need, the sooner we can continue on our way. Though I will admit we will probably need more supplies for the journey. Water, at least. And he," at this point, he pointed at the rebel, "isn't going to be much use without medical attention."

"Don't >>he<< me, guy. I'm not going to recover quickly if you keep to piss me off like that, got it ? And without me you are not going to get those fraggin' parts for that damned wreck.", hissed the Rebel, crouching somewhere in the corner of the room. He coughed heavily, almost spitting blood out of his lungs.

"I somehow doubt you managed to lift some money off the prison ship before it blew," CX replied, looking back at the rebel, "and while I'm no expert, I do not expect you to fetch much of a price if I were to sell or trade you for the parts we need. If anything, your current use is as a distraction to any other local wildlife we may meet along the way."

'If you were a little more bitter, Sergeant, I could say that you are very similar to my former master' the Jedi added, smiling. She seemed *so* content, happy. 'Anyway, CX, do you really want to go back so much? Do you really want to become a slave one more time? To fight for Siths? You are intelligent man... You should understand that this... Empire will not last long? There were no Siths in history who managed to hold an Empire for more than a few decades.'

"We've been over this. I was made, remember that, created with a single purpose in mind. Wage war. I possess no other skills, I didn't have the benefit of a childhood to pick up other useful skills. I just know how to kill things in various interesting ways. If I turn away from the war, what's left for me? Breaking limbs for gang bosses on the Outer Rim for a few credits?" the clone snorted, shaking his head. "I gave my life and a considerable portion of my body to the cause of the Empire. I'd rather live and die fighting for a cause, even if others might think it the wrong one. You can keep your peace..."

While Triz was away, looking for some medicines for Vince, the Jedi, still smiling, looked upon CX.

'You that your approach may lead to a rather unpleasant situation sooner or later?' she asked. 'And by the look of this thing she added, pointing at a small, glowing cube lying on one of the monitors. rather sooner.'

"I never expected to see retirement anyway," the clone replied with a simple shrug.

Triz entering the CIC again cut short the conversation. In her hands, she carrying a pneumatic needle and a vial of greenish liquid. She crouched next to Vince, and before he could protest- or thank- injected him in the neck. It was matter of seconds until he started feeling considerably better.

Then, the zabrak turned towards CX and the Jedi.

'You know, I did not have the opportunity to ask about your whereabouts. You have crashed, this I know. But who are you aside of it? What brings a twi'lek with slaving collar on neck, Imperial soldier and a person that looks like retired pirate together on one ship?'

"Long story short, the ship we were travelling on was attacked. I am under orders to get her," the clone nodded towards the Jedi, "to her destination alive and in one piece, so I did what I could to get us off the ship before it was lost. We picked up two more crewmembers along the way, and this one who'd escaped from his cell in the chaos, no doubt," this time he indicated the rebel with a nod. "Our shuttle's hyperdrive got fried in the escape, though, and... well, here we are. So when will you show us this trading post? I'd rather not stick around here any longer than I absolutely have to..."

Vincent did not say anything more than a silent "My thanks to you, miss.", when the woman injected him the antibiotic. The sound of his voice was even weaker. When the Clone was asking about the trading post, he only gazed into the Zabrak's eyes, barely visibly shaking his head.

'Well, this post is something like two hundred clicks north' said Triz. 'Fortunately, I have a speeder, and a few things to do in this place, so I can take you there. Though, I'd want to say that you may not fit there very well. The post is ran by slavers and rebels, and I doubt that an imperial stormtrooper, or whatever you are, Sergeant, will be receive a warm welcome.'

"Without my armour I'd stand out even more," CX replied, shaking his head. "Give me a touch of paint and I'll make this look like an outfit from way back in the Clone Wars. I can pose for a deserter or bounty hunter in a pinch," the clone said with a shrug, then looked at Vincent, his cold glare somehow getting past the expressionless faceplate of his helmet. "And you'll keep up the illusion or you'll be the first one I shoot if things turn sour."

"Good idea, sir ! Shoot me now, you'll sooner start accustoming to the place. If you are so willing to stay in here until your sorry ass rots completely, have it your way.", the Rebel laughed at the stormtrooper's invisible cold glare, at his semi-intimidating manner of speaking, at the picture at whole. "This...", he added, becoming calm after a while, "...is gonna lead you nowhere, soldier. No-where !"

"At a point of disguise. I suppose you did not think of why someone like me would be a company of a deserter or a travelling mercenary. Which is a mistake. How about disguising as a travelling merchant and his personal escort ? This would fit the background we're in a bit better and would make potential creating of our way outside slightly... easier. Do you get what I meant ?"

It seemed like Rebel felt a bit better than before. Whatever the medicine was, it appeared to work rapidly.

"And may I know who we have the pleasure visiting at the moment ?", he asked after a moment. "You got to know who are we and what are we doing here. I suppose we want to know the same about you... in return."
