Returns PBF - In Character
Gargulec:
The women put her finger on a trigger, as Vince closed by.
'Hold. If I'd want to shoot you, you would be dead already. And, believe me, if you come any closer, I will do this!'
She paused for a second, waiting for Vince reaction. When he finally stopped, she spoke again, starring at his face, and probably starting to fall to his allure already.
'Look, I know who you are, and really, all I want is to get out of this ship alive. I don't care if you're rebel, I hold no grudge against you, and will be really pleased to quit the Navy anyway, and as long as you can help me get to the shuttle in the lowest cellblock level, I can take you with me, too. So?'
Before, however, the rebel could reply, a small figure clad in Imperial uniform emerged from the adjacent corridor.
Meanwhile...
The Jedi nodded. 'I only need few moments to pull myself together....' she muttered. After a second, she looked at CX, and whispered 'Anyway, I think I need to thank you for what you've done for me.
Journey:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)I don't know what kind of outcome you were expecting. If a trooper is standing guard, and you draw your pistol, of course he will shoot. Did you expect to talk or force him to back down? Think about what you would do if you were the trooper, or ANYONE, if you're already holding a gun, aimed, and the person you're aiming for goes for his/her own weapon.
In any case, you don't have the "I bet you have" Asset, so drawing your pistol will take time. Enough time for a trooper who is already aiming at you to shoot. And even if you did have that Asset, it just signifies that you can draw your pistol pretty quickly, not that it magically appears in your hand. When someone is covering you with a weapon, they're SPECIFICALLY ALERT for any actions you take that might threaten them, and drawing your weapon is one of such actions.
I'm sorry that you were killed so early in the game. But it's the outcome that makes sense, considering your actions. When you drew your weapon in front of the trooper that was covering you, there was other no logical outcome than him shooting you.
If I (in real life, perhaps) run into a soldier with his weapon drawn, I'm not going to try to bring out my gun so I can force him to talk. I'm going to do whatever the hell he says - because in a split second he could kill me, and death kinda sucks, you know? Maybe later on when for some reason he's not paying attention or turns his back I could pull something off, but not when he's watching me, that's for sure.
Xander Morhaime:
"In all fairness, I'd have had you shot on sight were it not for standing orders," the clone replied with a shrug. "But someone high up wants to see you arrive on Coruscant in one unharmed piece, so I'll do what I can in that regard. Just don't start thinking of me as a friend. Remember where that got your Jedi Order last time," he added, already heading down the corridor to the hangar bay, though slow enough that she'd keep up... and keeping alert for any more potential obstacles.
Journey:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)Fathima's clothes are currently dark grey, but there's nothing specifically Imperial beyond that.
Fathima put all thoughts of Colin behind her, focusing her mind on the here and now.
Sithspawn, she thought, as her new focus finally led her to realize the meaning of the distinct alert that had been going on all this time. The area was being locked down. But no, with the power failing, would the seals hold? After all, the energy containment fields had all but disappeared. Well, there was no point in worrying about things you couldn't control. Checking in with Zal, she proceeded onwards in the direction it directed, hoping that the route would remain clear.
As she warily turned another corner, she saw two figures in the distance. It looked like a pilot was covering an escapee with her weapon. If she continued to play the role she had adopted, she would have to... No. With all the cells open, she might run across a crowd of Rebels or other prisoners. They probably wouldn't take to kindly to an intelligence agent among them. What to do then? There weren't many other explanations for why she was here. Instead, she decided to appeal to the survival instincts. Still, being careful - she drew one of her holdout pistols in one hand and aimed it forwards, while covering it with her other hand, appearing to casually hold her hands in front of her.
"What are you two doing standing there? I know you have your differences, but with the explosions throughout them ship, let's put them aside for now and run for the escape pods. Wait, you're a pilot - and the shuttles are closer. I can access the direct turbolifts if we go together."
Silhar:
The rebel seemed suprised with the whole situation. He glanced at both women (or rather, at both barrels being aimed at him) and said nervously :
"O-ok, just aim this thing somewhere neutral, shall you ?"
He stepped back, slightly disoriented. After a few seconds everything finally became semi-clear.
"Settled, then. After you, ladies.", he answered.
"Would you mind telling me who I have pleasure of working with... and what happened ?"
