Part two. Maybe I should have done DoomRL: The Novel, for NaNoWriMo. Ah well, there's always next year.
Before he went any farther,The Centurion had a feeling that there was something valuable on this level. He couldn't quite place it, but he knew it to be true, So he opened a door from the side and looked through it. He was greeted by Baron fire. Nothing new so he fired off a couple of shells that killed some formers hanging around and really put some hurt onto the Barons.
Then a Rev rocket came flying at him knocking him back a bit. He kept shooting, but some suddenly came back to life. The Centurion knew this meant one thing:Viles. He quickly closed the door and ran as fast as he could, only to encounter a Mancubus in close quarters. He quickly ran towards it and managed to get close enough so it won't try to shoot at him, then he blew it away.
After some close calls and hearing the demons nearby, The Centurion turned into a room in despiration, what he found, was salvation. There was, on the floor, an immaculate, (basically newly made) and beautiful, Pancor Jackhammer. He quickly looked around for enemies to ruin him. Then he ran to it like no person has ever ran before. He picked the gun up, and it after a check of the mechanisims, The Centurion cried, he cried tears of joy. He held in his hands, the gun he would use to avenge his commrades, and all the pain and suffering they had dealt to him. He was about to commit some war crimes.
The Centurion went to the door, as it slowly opened to revealed Viles and and Mancubi, plus a Rev. Four salvos later, they were ALL DEAD. ALL OF THEM. The Centurion then found a Berzerk Pack, and smiled a devilish grin. He then started to laugh as he started to install it as some Hell Knights closed in. He knew that with that Pancor, The Centurion had become an Agent of Death. He was going to get out of this goddamned dungeon...one way or another, and the more demons that he took down before that, the better.
Part two end.
I know that there's no story to Ao100, but having one emerge from an experience in game made it better all around.
Congrats Kornel, you've made a game where someone can make a story out of the storyless bonus mode.
You made me do something that some people try very hard to do in games all the time, with a Doom Roguelike.
