I've been trying off and on for weeks to get this one, and it finally came together. I originally aimed at getting the Platinum Pacifist badge, but decided I didn't ever want to have to do it twice on Nightmare!, so I decided to learn how to do it without Hellrunner =P

Onyx Armor helped a lot, I found that around level 2 or 3 of Hell. I'm glad I went for Fireangel as soon as possible, I laughed at Viles, Revenants, and Mancubi. A few lucky Supercharges along the way and a Megasphere once helped a ton.

The game time is off because I was on level 7 of Hell when our office holiday party started and I had to walk away for a bit. Came back to finish it after the party.

Oh, I needed 4 Viles to rank up, and made sure to stand next to a few of them long enough on this run to get them toasted. I'm an Arch Vile now =)

Yeah, it worked out really well. Ignore that Brute at the end, I was on Hell 9 and knew that none of the traits would do me any immediate good =P

I was wondering about MFA for this challenge.  People seem to find it useful, but I never got to try it out.  Personally, I prefer pumping TaN and ironman earlier cause like... stuff hurts.  Also, you can get arach caves as early as level 6.

Or even in level 5.


Starting with Tan > Tan > Bad is usualy the best way to go for it anyway.

But to be honest, MFA is pretty much a must for pacifism diamond, just try surviving mancubis any other way
