Shotguns are handy throughout the challenge, even more so if you pick up Int2. Being able to snipe far-off enemies while being able to cover your ass helps a lot (even if I picked it up towards the last few levels).
Now I think I might take a break from the harder badges. Its playing hell with my sleep patterns. :P
