Okay, I went for Berserker Silver to become a sergeant. I found a homing phase on the same level that had the entrance to the Mortuary, so I went for that one too. Strangely enough I never get past about level 12 on normal HNTR, but here I wasn't even using strategy. I just battered everything. Although, I would have done better if I'd found an Unholy Cathedral.

Yeah, Unholy Cathedral is useful for a Berserker.  You should use the mortem tags for your mortem instead of code.
