Question regarding Master trait "blocks"

Dr. Strangelove:
When picking a master trait, I know it blocks some other traits.

However, does the invalidation carry over to traits related to the blocked one?

i.e.  if I picked up Ammochain, which blocks Eagle Eye, will it block Intuition and Cateye as well (both of which extend from the Eagle Eye skill)?

Effectively yes. It may not block the trait directly but by blocking the prerequisite, you are blocked from the advanced abilities as well.
