http://forum.chaosforge.org/index.php/topic,2328.0.html, It is possible to play DoomRL under full screen in Windows 7, providing you have Windows XP Mode installed.
The trick is to disable "Integration mode" under the tools menu. As Vinod Atal from Microsoft Technet said:
DOS application won't run in fullscreen mode with integration features. This is a known limitation.
From tools menu --> Disable integration features and try again. This should allow DOS application to run in full screen mode.Windows XP Mode is
I think only supported in Windows 7 Professional and Ultimate.
I have tested it and it's working for me. Also This should be a temporary solution for us Windows 7 users until v0.9.9.1 comes out, which apparently, an SDL version of DoomRL is coming out. Until then:
