The mysterious "evil"  which is shooting me(*) is hided behind the green door, and is an ordinary former human. But why don't I see him?

Actually, this death from the shadows thing has bugged me for a while. I've been killed quite a few times by a shotgunner duo, hiding just outside my FOV.

I had an issue just yesterday, where I could see an Imp, he could see and shoot me, but every time I shot him (with a pistol, mind you), I would end up hitting the wall. The wall crossed the default line of sight, but I could still see the imp. I would post screenshots, but I am on a school computer right now, it'll be tonight when I get to my computer.

Buggy LOS is one thing that will be solved eventually, though I doubt it will be in time for the upcoming release.

It's worse with sergeants and no sound, because all you see is "You die...!" (There is no message for being hit by a shotgun.)
