I know this isn't an ideal way, the other post was locked so sorry for a new one, but I just thought people would like to know this. You can in fact get a full screen by a.) installing an xp driver for your video card, or b.) using the generic vga driver.
Now neither of these are ideal ways, especially the vga, since you normally have to reboot to switch back from vga to regular driver, and the xp driver can cause crashes every now and then. But it's possible, just in case people were interested.
You could theoretically get a virtual machine with full screen capabilities and run doomrl in an xp box.
Or someone could just hurry up on that release for full SDL. =) Just messing, love the game.
