Garden of The Dark DH PBF - Dramatis Personae n' OOC Thread
Silhar:
* Silhar smiles, but does not answer... yet.
Silhar:
Interlude : Hesitations ?
Magos yawned, as three utility servitors were crowding around him, utility mech-arms flashing in the air as clumsy machines were grafting to the Interrogator's mantle an another mechadendrite - the one equipped with a manipulator. The room was pretty dark now, only a single lamp-pack blazing in the lho-smoke, not mentioning occasional bursts of sparks, but machines were certainly equipped with appropriate sensors to accomplish the task. Or... ?
Van Bohr muttered something under his breath. He seemed to talk in some bizzare dialect - be it human tongue or cybernetic beeping ?
We might only suppose if Mechanicus' tongue contained any vulgar words, but judging from the man's facial expression, it did.
"Damned pieces of junk, all of you. I am wondering which one's responsible for programming them so badly.", Tech-Priest sneered in Gothic and inhaled the smoke. "I want to have a chat with him."
"Programmer's ID demanded.", his vox-inducer crackled and the servitor responded in the same manner.
"Negative. Higher clearance required."
Magos' face twitched in wonderment - and pain, as the machine's drill dug deeply into his arm. He barely jumped from his seat, bolter-arm roaring and spitting fire. The cigarette fell into the ground.
After a split-second, all the machines were motionless. Van Bohr plugged into one's cranium, taking control of opticals and combitool-arms.
Finishing an operation and staunching blood loss took around five minutes in total.
"There is only one person sitting higher than me that would provide me servitors for such a task...", he cogitated loudly, scratching the back of his bald head. "But why did she order them to kill me ?"
He realized after a while, his eyes wide open.
He'd seen Arbitrator Ramirez's case files. Men in high command did not seem to like him too much. Perhaps this is why he was sent on a barely suicidal mission along with two xenos... And why had he granted the right of using the holy Exterminatus ? The Magos was told to do everything he could to save planet Thyss.
Unless... this one was done just pro forma. Yes, it certainly was.
"Magos ?", the loud voice echoed in the room as door opened wide with a silent whisper of steel. The Skitarii saluted. "Lady Rathbone wishes to talk with you. Transmission incoming."
"Tell her Lady Inquisitor that I am going to come in a while.", Magos drawled in response, stepping forward.
What he thought, does not fit well for the record.
Aramilllion:
I'm going on holiday tomorrow (Thursday July 8th). I'll be back in two weeks (July 22nd),
so please don't be mad at me if there shall be a delay because of my absention.
EDIT: I'm back, Hell yeah!
Silhar:
I'm afraid that we have to freeze the PBF for a moment, since Aramilllion has slight problems with his PC, perhaps related to the last storm.
Until he recovers, please, be patient.
Aramilllion:
I have returned.
I apologise for my absence, but as Silhar wrote, my PC was down, so I was having it repaired.
